Professional experience

After completing law and aggregation studies in Belgium (UCL), I obtained a competition-based Dutch scholarship, which allowed me to study international law and European law (Leyden) and to work as a researcher at the Asser Institute (The Hague). I then pursued a dual career, academic (UCL, Universities of Paris XI and Bordeaux, HEFF) and at the bar, where I quickly proceeded to the creation of a business firm (Belgium - Luxembourg - France and Israel) particularly specialized in European law (competition, customs and dumping, international sanctions), and investment law. I have been a member of CEPANI since the beginning of my career, and have been part of its scientific committee, and have participated - as counsel or arbitrator - in CEPANI, ICC and ICSID arbitrations, particularly in matters of investment protection and construction. I particularly appreciate the position of party-appointed arbitrator.
