Lawyer at the Bar of Ghent since September 1, 1974 – Deputy judge at the Commercial Court of Ghent, later at the Ghent Enterprise Court, Ghent Division between 1987 and 2024– Temporarily appointed judge (assumed counsellor) in the construction chamber of the Ghent Court of Appeal – European Chair for twelve years of the Legal Netlink Alliance, an international network of law firms – Arbitrator, chairman, and mediator between companies, mainly in construction matters and construction insurance (CAR). Presiding arbitrator in several cases of the PPP “Schools of Tomorrow” – Arbitrator/adviser in fee disputes of the Ghent Bar – Investigator in disciplinary matters of the Ghent Bar.
