Marc Henry has practised arbitration and business litigation for over 30 years. After 18 years of association in English and American international law firms, he joined FTMS, a firm specialising in litigation and arbitration, in 2018. Marc Henry has acted as counsel and arbitrator in ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings. He has also been Chairman of the French Arbitration Association (AFA) since 2017. He holds a doctorate in law and is heavily involved in academic writing, in addition to teaching Master 2 and LLM courses at several universities, including Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas. His thesis on "The arbitrator's duty of independence" was awarded a prize and published.
