Professional experience

I have studied law in Belgium, and European and international law in Netherland (Leyden). I joined the bar in 1985, and have started a complete academic career in 1986 (Louvain-La-Neuve, Brussels, Paris & Bordeaux). I work mainly in international law and European trade trade law and competition issues. In the recent past, I have also been called upon to manage temporarily companies, and euroepan group of companies. My arbitration activities are mainly focused on investment arbitration (ICSID) and contractual relationships (including competition law aspects).
