Professional experience

I am a litigator with 34 years' experience, with an emphasis on complex cross-border litigation. I have also acted as counsel for parties and as an arbitrator in CEPANI arbitration proceedings conducted in English. I am often called upon to act as legal expert in foreign arbitration proceedings (ICC, JAMS, etc.) on matters related to Belgian procedural law and commercial law in the broad sense. I assist clients with the enforcement or annulment of foreign judgments and arbitral awards and with related asset protection or recovery procedures.
