Piotr Tereszkiewicz is a Professor in the Private Law Department at Jagiellonian University in Kraków (Poland) and a Senior Research Affiliate at the University of Leuven (K.U. Leuven, Belgium). He also served as a Senior Grotius Research Fellow at the University of Michigan Law School and an adjunct professor at Cornell Law School. Piotr’s practical experience includes work at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt and advising the Financial Ombudsman in Poland.Piotr specialises in contract and commercial law, with particular focus on insurance, financial services, distribution and franchising contracts as well as private international law and digital technologies law. Piotr is on a list of arbitrators recommended by the Court of Arbitration Lewiatan in Warsaw.
