Professional experience
I focus on complex civil and commercial litigation relating to, among others, partnership agreements, service contracts, distribution, directors’ liability and post-acquisition disputes in various sectors such as distribution of industrial products, food industry, energy, biotechnology and construction.A major part of my practice consists in national and international arbitration. I regularly act as arbitrator or as counsel mainly in ICC and CEPANI proceedings.
As an arbitrator, I am ranked by all the major and reputable international directories such as Chambers, Legal500 and Leaders League.
I was a teaching assistant at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in civil and commercial law for more than ten years and I teached “droit commercial international et résolution des conflits internationaux” at the Ichec Brussels management School for several years.
I am the author of various publications and I regularly speak at conferences, in Belgium and abroad.
I am very active within CEPANI. I am a board member since 2023, I am part of the CEPANI Delegation at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law and I co-chair the CEPANI Diversity and Inclusion Committee. I was the co-chair of CEPANI40 from 2017 until 2022 and I was a member of the Jury of CEPANI Academic Prize 2023.
I am also a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR (Paris).
