Jean-François is recognized as an expert in civil, commercial and corporate litigation (both domestic and cross-border) representing clients before various jurisdictions, or assisting them in alternative dispute resolution processes such as arbitration and mediation.He has a specific expertise in Obligations and Commercial Contracts, advising client on various related topic, both contentious and non contentious, such as economic regulations, compliance issues and risk management.
His experience covers assisting clients in the contractual structuring of complex projects, including joint ventures and acquisition matters.
Jean-François is teaching Obligations and Contract law at Saint-Louis University - Brussels and is the author of numerous publications. He speaks regularly at conferences on Contract law and dispute resolution topics. He is a member of the Commission on Arbitration and ADR and of the Commission on Commercial Law and Practice of the International Commercial Court.
He received in 2022 his accredited mediation certificate in Civil and Commercial Matters.
