Professional experience
My legal practice as an Attorney at Law, Founder of Ghanem Law Firm since 1997, and a University Lecturer, have been expanded to assisting multinational companies within the International Business Law specialization, litigation, and arbitration practices.
I enjoy servicing the corporate needs of businesses, start-up companies, advising on the best ways for corporate structures, with the use of diverse legal vehicles. I regularly act for clients throughout Lebanon and the MENA region; to address all their legal needs.
Over the last several years, I have gained professional experience in the management of arbitration centers, since I was appointed in 2015, a Co-Founder and Executive board member of the Lebanese International Arbitration Center at the Beirut Bar Association (LIAC-BBA), as well as a Member at the PMG Committee of the CIArb – London, my contributions in both centers were fundamental.
I am Currently, listed on many panels of arbitrators such as the LIAC-BBA, LAMC, TIAC and have been appointed arbitrator on numerous arbitration panels.
I am as well, a University Lecturer at the American University of Beirut (AUB), on “AI, Ethics and principles, a multilingual Lawyer (Arabic, French and English), and still have many media appearances on Many topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Human rights and promoting for arbitration culture through TV and RADIO, as well as a speaker in many conferences in Lebanon and abroad.
My contributions to many international institutions such as the World Bank, the CIArb (PMG) in London, the University of London as Ambassador, the IAPP on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Founding President of The International Academic Center for Management and Empowerment (TIAC), Co-Founder of the Lebanese International Arbitration Center at the Beirut Bar Association (LIAC-BBA), and official receiver (OR) in bankruptcy at the Ministry of Justice, are valuable experiences on a global scale.
