Professional experience

Mr. Marc DE BLOCK has been a lawyer at the Bar of Antwerp since September 1986 and is the founder and owner of Marc De Block Advocatenkantoor BV.

His specialization lies in handling complex disputes, both national and international and this for private persons as well as for companies and governments, with a specialization in arbitration and commercial matters and this during the past 35 years.

For 16 years, he was the regular counsel of the Diamond Bourse and other diamond institutions (Supreme Diamond Council) and also acted as legal advisor in various arbitration institutions. He advised arbitration bodies and professional organizations, not only in Belgium, but equally in the United States, South Africa, Angola, Dubai, Israel and elsewhere.

Mr. Marc DE BLOCK is active in ad hoc arbitrations in all commercial matters, specifically contract law, cross-border cooperation agreements, insurance, etc.
