Professional experience

Before launching the law firm GBS Disputes, Maude Lebois was Partner at Shearman & Sterling since 2016. Maude has extensive experience in disputes related to construction projects, including under the FIDIC Books, acting as Counsel and as arbitrator. She has handled the full spectrum of claims that typically arise in construction disputes, particularly in relation to oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical and infrastructure projects. She also provides contract and claim management in relation to such projects. Maude trained in law at Université de Liège in Belgium (civil law jurisdiction) and at Harvard Law School. She is admitted to practice in Paris, New York and Brussels.
