Professional experience

International arbitrator and tribunal chair with more than 30 years of experience in dispute resolution. Has acted as arbitrator and counsel in well over 100 domestic and international arbitration proceedings, including as presiding arbitrator, sole arbitrator and co-arbitrator, in institutional and ad hoc proceedings under civil-law and common-law systems.

Partner at De Meulemeester & De Brabandere Law; Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration; Honorary President of CEPANI (President 2014-2020); President of the CEPANI Academic Committee; Visiting Professor at Leiden University (Negotiation & Mediation); Honorary Fellow at Ghent University.
