Professional experience

Thibault Verbiest is a Belgian and French attorney with over 30 years of expertise in fintech, blockchain, digital banking, cybersecurity, and data protection. He is the founding partner at DALAW (specialized in tech and crypto law), and a legal expert for the World Bank, advising on fintech and blockchain regulations.

Previously, he led the fintech and blockchain practices at Metalaw and DS Avocats, co-founded Olymp Capital (a blockchain-focused fund), and advised the European Blockchain Observatory and Forum. As President of the Internet Rights Observatory, he shaped internet policies and represented Belgium internationally.
