Professional experience

Professional experience: Prof. SGH dr hab. Marcin J. Menkes is Professor of Law at the Warsaw School of Economics. Founder and head of the postgraduate program in Law and Economics of the Capital Market. He specializes in international arbitration and litigation, sovereign immunities, economic sanctions, foreign investments, financial and monetary governance.

Arbitration Experience: Experience in investment arbitration and commercial arbitration. Member of the panel of arbitrators and experts on Trade and Sustainable Development (TSD) for European Union free trade agreements and the Court of Arbitration of the Polish Chamber of Commerce (SAKIG). Member of several arbitration associations, including the ISDS Academic Forum, the ILA Business and Human Rights Committee and the ILA Working Committee on the Rule of Law and International Investment Law.
