Professional experience
Gisèle has over 18 years’ experience in international arbitration and dispute resolution. Before founding her firm, she practised at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and Paris where she was a Counsel. She has acted for corporations and States or State-owned entities in well over fifty disputes involving many arbitration rules (ICC, LCIA, SCC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, CCJA, AFA, RSA, CAM), seats and applicable laws. She also has experience of litigation before the English and French courts (arbitration-related and general commercial matters).Her experience spans a range of industry sectors (aerospace, automotive, banking, construction, food, media, mines, oil and gas, power, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, public utilities, shipping and logistics, technology, and telecoms) and regions, with a focus on Africa and Europe.
In addition to her counsel work, Gisèle accepts appointments as arbitrator and mediator.
