Professional experience

Anne JUNION has a master's degree in law and a specialization in international and european law.
She started her professional career at the Brussels Bar and conducted multiple missions abroad to provide advice in the field of drafting energy and environment legislation.

Between 2003 and 2018, she was a judge at the Belgian Competition Authority and at the Data Protection Authority.

In 2008, she joined the Minister of Finance Didier Reynders as head of legal unit and acted as spoke’s person in meetings and events.

In 2012, she took over the management of the Jean Gol study center and became the chief of staff of Charles Michel, then president of the Mouvement Réformateur, a French-speaking liberal party.

From January 2012 to October 2020, she joined the team of the Minister of Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development as head of cabinet and representative of the minister by the European Union and other international fora.

Since 2014, she is a member of the board of directors first of IRE, a foundation active in the field of nuclear medicine, healthcare and environment and then of SCK CEN, leader in the field of nuclear research.

Since January 2021, she also sits as an arbitrator in arbitration proceedings between companies.
