As a ML and MBA, I started my career in 1978 as manager consumerism and legal affairs in an international holding. I the became CEO, director and managing director in a Belgian family holding where I ran companies active in steel construction. I moved to Ireland in 1988 to become CEO and managing director in an Irish company active in aluminium who was first in Belgian ownership, then German, Austrian and American (I still work as part-time consultant to this company). During this period I became responsible for more companies, Director in Japan, part of the change management team, .... In 2005 I came back to live and work in Belgium where I became managing director in the elderly care business till I retired. Now I only do time limited projects.
