Expérience professionnelle

Gabriele brings over fifteen years of experience in international arbitration, representing and advising corporations, states and state-owned entities from Europe, the Middle East, the Gulf countries, and Africa in both investor-State and commercial arbitrations.

He acts in procedures conducted under the aegis of the main arbitration rules, including those of the ICC, LCIA, SIAC, Swiss Arbitration Centre, AFA, CCJA, ICSID, CEPANI, and UNCITRAL.

His practice covers matters relating to agency and distribution contracts, construction projects, energy, corporate law (M&A), and international trade (sales and purchases, bank guarantees). He also advises on investment protection, public international law, and EU and international economic sanctions.

Gabriele has significant experience in handling complex and technical disputes under both civil law and common law systems and has developed particular expertise in dealing with sensitive procedural issues, notably thanks to his previous experience as Counsel at the ICC International Court of Arbitration.

Gabriele also manages transnational litigation matters related to the annulment, and recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards before national courts and sits as an arbitrator in international commercial disputes (ICC, Chamber of Arbitration of Milan, Swiss Arbitration Centre, ad hoc, etc.).
