Costs?
Transparency and predictability are essential when it comes to the costs of arbitration (institutional and arbitrators' fees). This is ensured by the institution's fee schedule and its cost calculator. Providing parties with a clear understanding of potential costs upfront, these tools contribute to better financial planning and help prevent unexpected expenses throughout the proceedings.
Calculate the arbitration costs
The arbitration costs include the fees and expenses of the arbitrators as well as the administrative expenses of the Secretariat.
The fees and costs of the arbitrators are determined by the Secretariat depending on the amount in dispute and within the limits mentioned hereinafter.
This scale ( Schedule 1 of the Rules) applies to all proceedings introduced as from 1 January 2023 whichever version of the Rules is applicable to the proceedings.
Please note that, following Article 37.3 of the CEPANI Arbitration Rules, the Secretariat may fix the arbitration costs at a higher or lower amount than that which would result from the application of the scale of costs for arbitration provided for in Schedule I, should this be deemed necessary due to exceptional circumstances.
