The potential benefits of introducing Dispute Boards in Belgium, both for businesses and taxpayers, are undeniable. However, the Dispute Board is relatively unknown in Belgium and is not very often used, except for certain very large infrastructure contracts. We want to place the principle of the Dispute Board at the heart of this roundtable conference by bringing together all stakeholders, not only industry and engineering firms, but also contracting authorities at all levels (from municipalities to the federal government and the federated entities), as well as the legislative and executive power.
