Our recent Green Initiatives

Building on its commitment as a Green Pledge signatory (Campaign for Greener Arbitrations: The Green Pledge), CEPANI, led by a dedicated working group Flip Petillion, Iuliana Iancu, Lauren Rasking, Adrien Fink, Astrid Moreau, and Sophie Goldman, is introducing sustainability measures to reduce the environmental impact of ADR.

One key feature from the Committee was the adoption of the CEPANI Greener Arbitration Pledge by the Board. This pledge is intended for individual counsel, their firms, and arbitrators to publish on their websites or in firm brochures, promoting sustainable practices.

The working group has also released draft language that can be included in procedural orders and terms of reference, making sustainability practical and actionable for its users.

CEPANI is also passionately advancing towards its goal of earning the “Ecodyn” label, awarded to Brussels-based enterprises committed to reducing their environmental impact. We aim to achieve this recognition later this year, reflecting our dedication to a greener future.
