On 20 March 2026, the Institute for Company Lawyers (IBJ/IJE) together with the French and Dutch Brussels Bars will host the third edition of their joint seminar, dedicated to a topic that is rapidly reshaping the legal landscape: artificial intelligence in legal practice.
During the afternoon, lawyers, company lawyers and judges will share practical insights on the implementation of AI tools, their impact on efficiency and quality, and the challenges faced by legal professionals today.
We will explore how AI is already being used and how it could be used to support arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution. Speakers will discuss the opportunities and limitations for practitioners and courts, as well as emerging best practices and the risks that need to be carefully managed.
These reflections come on top of essential principles such as deontology, confidentiality and transparency, which remain the backbone of any fair and reliable decision‑making process.
For CEPANI members, this seminar offers a valuable opportunity to reflect on how AI is transforming not only law firms and legal departments, but also dispute resolution processes and decision-making.
We warmly invite you to join us in Brussels for this event. Please register via the Brussels Bar.
