Semanta Hoti is an international lawyer based in Antwerp and admitted to the Antwerp Bar (List B). Her practice is distinctly international, advising and representing clients in matters spanning Europe, the Gulf, Africa and China.Her work focuses on international commercial disputes and cross-border corporate and commercial matters, including M&A, joint ventures, distribution and cooperation agreements, market entry and international investment. Her work spans sectors including technology, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. Following executive education in M&A at Harvard Business School, she has further developed her expertise across the full transaction lifecycle, from structuring and due diligence through execution and post-acquisition integration.
She also advises on regulatory alignment with EU law, particularly in the field of digital regulation and the EU AI Act. She has a background in business and human rights, public international law and EU accession matters, as well as experience in proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights.
She acts as counsel in commercial disputes and is available for appointment as mediator and legal expert.
