Su-Yi Leung Wing Cheung is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution team at Strelia. She focuses on complex commercial and corporate disputes, both in litigation and arbitration.

Relying on her experience, Su-Yi helps clients resolve complex disputes and tackle the legal challenges that arise from them. She acts as counsel in national and international arbitrations - i.e., CEPANI, LAC - governed by various laws, including Belgian, German and Luxembourg laws. She also represents clients in post-arbitration proceedings before Belgian courts - i.e., in setting-aside and enforcement actions - and assists them in alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation.

Her practice covers a variety of sectors, including aviation, maritime, energy, banking, information technology and distribution, enabling her to navigate technical and multi-stakeholder disputes with efficiency and strategic insight.

Su-Yi holds a Master’s degree in law from the Université Catholique de Louvain, with a specialisation in European law, complemented by an exchange at the Université du Québec à Montréal. She subsequently obtained an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution from King’s College London.

With her hands-on experience in high-stakes contentious work, Su-Yi brings a rigorous, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to dispute resolution.
