Professionele ervaring

I am a French legal expert with legal practice and academic experience in international law and international litigation.
I am Professor of international law at the Faculty of Law of UCLouvain, a guest professor of international investment arbitration at Sciences Po Law School, and an invited professor at the Hague Academy of International Law.
I am a Member of the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators. I am on the List of Trade and Sustainable Development Experts for dispute settlement panels under EU Trade Agreements. I am also on the List of Arbitrators for Sport of the CEPANI.
I act as an arbitrator and as an independent legal consultant on international law matters. I am admitted to practice law in France.
I offer trainings (see e.g. my MOOC on international investment law and arbitration available on edX) and I regularly publish on international law matters. My books include: Rules and Practices of International Investment Law and Arbitration, a textbook published by Cambridge University Press (2020), and Research Handbook on Human Rights and Investment (EE Elgar 2018).
I am fluent in French (mother tongue) and English. I have an intermediate level in Italian and a reading knowledge of Spanish.
